| The KIMAX II On-board Load Control is
an electronic weighing system which can be used in all vehicles
whose axles or axle groups are equipped with an air suspension
system. Due to the modular construction, it is very flexible and can
be individually adapted to all vehicle conditions. KIMAX II uses the linearity between air pressure and additional load of the vehicle i.e. for each ton of cargo loaded on to the vehicle, the air pressure increases continuously in the suspension system. Sensors register this pressure change and pass these data on to a separate display unit. KIMAX II comprises a display unit and one sensor box each for the tractor and trailer. The communication between the sensor box(es) and display unit is effected via the on-board electrical system so that no additional plug connections between tractor and trailer or semi-trailer are necessary. |
